Daddy's worries (2026/09/16)

Jolyan, when you and Jim get married someday, do you think you will build a house in Kinagai, or will you live here with us?

There is one thing I sometimes worry about. I think you are comfortable and happy living in this house now, and I’m glad that you feel at home here. But when you and Jim eventually have your own home, I wonder if the difference in living conditions might feel difficult for you, or if you might feel dissatisfied compared with the life you have here now.

I’m not saying this because I’m against you and Jim having your own home. As your daddy, I’m simply thinking about your future and wondering how you feel about it.

Daddy, thank you so much for sharing this with me, and for always thinking so deeply about my future and my comfort. It really means the world to know how much you care.

To answer your question, Jim and I haven't completely decided on where we'll settle down someday—whether closer to home but not in kinangay.

We're still taking things one step at a time. But please don't worry about me feeling dissatisfied with a future home.

Whatever living situation we start in the future, the most important thing for me will be building a life out of love, hard work, and partnership, the exact same values you and Mommy taught us.

Growing up in this house has given me so much warmth, security, and happiness, and I will always cherish that.

But any future home Jim and I build won't be measured just by material comfort; it will be built on the foundation you helped shape in me.

Thank you for always looking out for me, Daddy. And don't overthink it too much We are still unsure if we are the end game hahahaaha and also, even if we don't end up together, I'm going to build my own house someday it's just my dream to have my own house and be independent.

I can't just rely on what you provide or ate jeje will give. I also need to build my future and please don't worry about me someday.

Ups and downs of life are just normal for the human journey.

If I can't take the mistake then I can't live with this world. Don't worry daddy I will always be by your side no matter what.
